Description

An investigational “triple agonist” peptide that engages the GIP, GLP-1, and glucagon receptors simultaneously. It’s used in metabolic research exploring appetite regulation, energy expenditure, and fat metabolism.

Retatrutide is the correct name for the compound sold across this market as "GLP-3R". Its developmental code is LY3437943. Delta lists it under the market name for findability but treats retatrutide (LY3437943) as the authoritative identity on every certificate of analysis.

CompoundRetatrutide (LY3437943)
Also known asLY3437943. "GLP-3R" is an informal market nickname, not an official designation - there is no established GLP-3 receptor in the literature.
ClassAcylated 39-residue peptide
Structure39-residue peptide sharing the GIP-derived architecture of tirzepatide: non-natural Aib substitution, a C-terminal amide, and a C20 fatty-diacid side chain attached through a Îł-Glu / AEEA linker. Delta does not publish a residue-by-residue sequence for this compound because the published sources disagree; the lot COA is the reference.
Molecular formulaC221H342N46O68
Molecular weight4731.4 g/mol (free acid)
CAS number2381089-83-2 (free acid)
AppearanceWhite to off-white lyophilised powder.
Purity specification≥99% by HPLC

Every lot ships against its own certificate of analysis. Search by lot number on the certificates of analysis page, or check the paperwork before you order.

ReconstitutionBacteriostatic water or sterile water.
Storage, lyophilised-20 °C, sealed and desiccated, protected from light.
Storage, reconstituted2-8 °C, protected from light. Use within 2-4 weeks, or freeze single-use aliquots at -20 °C for longer holds.
ShippingShipped at ambient temperature. Lyophilised material tolerates transit without a cold chain; move it to the freezer on arrival.

Working notes

  • Let a vial come to room temperature before opening it. Opening a cold vial draws in moist air, and lyophilised powder takes up water quickly.
  • Add the diluent slowly down the inside wall of the vial rather than directly onto the powder cake, and let it dissolve on its own. Shaking a peptide solution is the fastest way to denature it.
  • Wipe the stopper with alcohol before every draw, and keep solutions out of direct light.
  • Repeated freeze-thaw cycles cost you more purity than time in the fridge does. If a vial will be used over weeks, aliquot it once and freeze the aliquots.
